HOW TO TRIAL A SADDLE

HOW OUR 5 DAY SADDLE TRIALS WORK?

Our saddle trials are very simple and come with FREE delivery anywhere in Europe.​

​

Saddle trials apply to our Trial Saddles only! 

​​

 

  • Choose your saddle/s.

 

  • Secure the saddle/s with a full value deposit.

 

  • We send the saddle to you for FREE and give you exclusive access to our master saddle fitting tips.​

​​

  • Your trial starts the day after arrival for 5 'FULL' days...........thats 5 full 24 hr days.

​

  • Fit and play with the saddle, ride in the saddle, make sure you are happy with the saddle.

​​​

  • TRIAL SUCCESS - Brilliant! Do nothing or let us know how happy you are.

​​​

  • TRIAL FAIL - Amazing! You have not bought a saddle that is absolutely no good to you!

 

Simply notify us and send the saddle back.
 

In the worst case scenario the cost will be no more than a return courier fee and €30 to help towards the trial costs.


Please consider these small costs in comparison to buying a saddle that does not fit you or your horse.

Trial Returns

TRIAL SADDLE RETURNS

Should your trial saddle choice not work out for you OR you wish to return subsequent trial saddles -
 

  • You must 'notify' us within the 5 day trial period.

 

You can notify us ​-
 

  1. By Email

  2. Online message.

  3. Or by telephone.​

​​

Send the saddle back to us within 9 days of the trial end.


Once we have received the saddle back we will refund your saddle deposit immediately less €30 per saddle to help towards the trial costs.

SECURE SADDLE FO TRIAL

HOW TO SECURE SADDLES FOR TRIAL?

1. Choose your saddles and add them to the cart by pressing Add to Cart >

 

2. Go to the Checkout.

 

​2. Pay your full value deposit -​
 

  • By card on or offline

  • ApplePay or GooglePay

  • Choose 'PAY OFFLINE' for phone payments and bank transfers or to reserve a saddle prior to requesting advice.

3. Enter your delivery/contact details.

​

4. You will receive an email confirmation and we will send your trial saddle/s.
 

Once the saddle is sent we will email a password for your exclusive access to our master saddle fitting resources.

RETURNS

RETURNS (Not trial saddles)

Due to our exemplary efforts and customer service we protect our customers from un-wanted purchases. Our products rarely have fault and warranty claims are virtually non-existent.

 

However, we absolutely understand if a product needs to be returned.
We will of course advise in your best interests and promise to respect the E.U. framework for returning goods purchased online.

We have in fact extended those basic terms to make for a more comfortable experience for our customers.

Our returns policy is as follows:

General returns such as girths and accessories -

​

  • General returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery and returned within 32 days.

  • ​General Returns must be unused with the original undamaged packing and labels attached.

  • The return must be accompanied with the provided return slip.

  • Return shipping is to be organised by the purchaser and at their expense.

  • Returns can be refunded or exchanged with prior agreement.

  • Refunds are only made to the original payment method.​​

  • FREE delivery only applies to products that are not returned. See NOTE* below.

New saddle returns 'NOT' trial saddles - ​
 

  • New saddles can not be returned if they have been girthed or ridden in. They must be returned in immaculate condition.

  • New saddle returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery to be accepted for a full refund.

  • New saddle returns initiated between 14 days and 32 days since delivery will incur a 35% restocking fee.

  • New saddle returns will not be accepted after 32 days.

  • The return must be accompanied with the provided return slip.

  • Return shipping is to be organised by the purchaser and at their expense.

  • Returns can be refunded or exchanged with prior agreement.

  • Refunds are made to the original payee & payment method.

  • FREE delivery only applies to products that are not returned. See NOTE* below.​

NOTE* If an order that qualified for free shipping is returned, then the order total will be refunded less the cost of shipping as per our shipping rates.

 

If an order is returned 'in part', the refund will reflect the qualifying amounts for free or discounted shipping as per our shipping rates.



To initiate a return -  

Simply email us at contact@saddleseurope.com or by a method you prefer and state -

 

  1. Your name and order number.

  2. Which products you wish to return.

  3. The reason for return.

  4. Your preference for a refund or exchange.

  5. Your intentions for returning the products to us.




Refunds can only be authorised once we have the product physically in our possession.

Refunds are usually issued within 1 - 2 business days.

Cutom Orders

CUSTOM ORDERS

​Custom order principles and returns -

 

We identify a 'Custom Order' as -

 

  1. Any product that requires a production order.

  2. Any product that we would not ordinarily order for stock or trial purposes.

  3. Any product that could result in financial loss if returned under standard return policies.

 

Custom order products can not be purchased through our website.

Instead we ask that you contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

 

Custom orders require vast experience and professional advice.

 

Custom orders have no right of return under E.U. law! -

Hence our vigilance, experience and professionalism with regards to your financial protection and the acquisition of custom products.

DELIVERY

Saddles Europe ships to every European country except Ireland.

Customers in Ireland please use www.saddlesireland.ie

  1. All trial saddles are sent for FREE.

  2. All orders under €150 are sent using your countries domestic postal service or DPD courier.

  3. All orders over €150 are sent for FREE using your countries domestic postal service or DPD courier at a discounted rate of 50%.

  4. All orders over €400 are sent for FREE. You can choose to use your countries domestic postal service or DPD courier.

Domestic postal services are available to all E.U. countries. DPD services are subject to availability.

​

TRIAL CONDITIONS AND DISCLAIMERS

TRIALS

  1. Anybody fitting a saddle should have a level of saddle fitting competence and we assume the same by way of your order. We in no way hold any responsibility for poorly fitted saddles and the symptoms potentially caused thereafter.

  2. You fit and ride in the saddle at your own risk. Although we encourage you to ride in the trial saddle we hold no responsibility for your safety! By way of the trial saddle order, the assumption is made that you are competent in riding, your horse is sound and your ancillary equipment is in good working order and appropriate.

  3. We offer no definitive advice other than to get your saddle choice into the right ball park. Your choice of saddles thereafter is solely your responsibility. If in doubt we urge that you engage the help of a knowledgable person.

  4. When we describe saddle trials as free, we are referring to successful trials whereby the saddle is kept, the delivery and trial was free. However if the trial fails the cost incurred is €30, this fee on average covers the cost of sending the saddle to you for trial.

TRIAL DELIVERY​

  1. Although we send your saddles via a reputable service, we do not guarantee delivery times.

TRIAL SADDLE RETURNS​

  1. Should the returned saddle/s be damaged beyond what would be considered reasonable wear, we reserve the right to withhold the deposit until suitable compensation has been agreed. This situation has never occurred.

  2. Return courier times may vary greatly dependent on the weather and the courier company themselves, we can take no responsibility for delayed saddle return periods.

  3. It is your responsibility to return the trial saddles at your expense. The saddles must be sent back in the original packaging provided and contain any labels, documentation, tools etc.

TRIAL DEPOSIT REFUNDING/VOIDING​

  1. We will refund/void your deposit less €30 per box to help towards the trial costs as soon as possible after the saddle/s have been returned, usually within a couple of hours. However we hold no responsibility for the processing time, this is dependent on your bank, some banks are quicker than others. The process usually takes 1-3 working days.

  2. Return courier times may vary greatly dependent on the weather and the courier company themselves. We can take no responsibility for delayed saddle return periods. Your refund will be processed as soon as possible after the return of the trialled saddle/s, usually within a couple of hours.
